Birthdays!!!!!

I know that it has been a while and my boys' birthdays are well past but I thought that I would post some pictures about the big events. All Carter wanted was a Bakugan cake. (If you don't know what that is don't worry I didn't until a few months ago.) So here was my attempt at creating a Bakugan.

Carter also wanted cupcakes with blue frosting for his class treat. I'm sure his teacher loved me! I didn't take a picture of the cupcakes, but I did get a picture of Kyler finishing one off. Lets just say that I found blue everywhere after the fact (for about a week!).Carter really wanted a big friend party this year and I was just not up to it with the baby coming and all, so we decided to surprise him with tickets to the Jazz game the night of birthday. Boy was he surprised and couldn't wait for that night. Being frugal and a little tight on cash was were only able to get upper bowl tickets. But by some blessing from a stranger at the game we were able to sit on the 25 row. As we were walking into the game a man asked us if we had tickets to the game and we said "yes" then he asked if it was just the three of us and again we said "yes" and then he offered us three extra ticket that he had begging us to take them and telling us that were lower bowl and over a $100 a ticket. So we took them. (what else could we do!!)
The night just kept getting better and better. And to top it off it just happen to be the Jazz Bear Birthday also. Carter was so amazed that the Jazz Bear's Birthday was the same day as his.
And to make it the perfect night the Jazz won!!!

Kyler's Birthday came next and got to celebrate on several different days. The first celebration was at Grandpa and Grandma's on Super Bowl Sunday. That's why we went with a football cake for that day.

On his actual birthday we celebrated with a Moose cake, because Kyler loves moose. And when I mean he loves moose I mean he really loves them. He calls them "moo". And he can find every moose that we have in the house (I didn't realize how many we had), all day long he wants to watch moose movies and play the hunting game on the computer and hunt moose and because he can't quite use the computer on his own and makes his brother hunt while he watches.
He got a lot of fun gifts from everyone, so thank you. We spent hours putting together Lego's and golfing. Who knew I would have two boys that loved Lego's. And he also got a lawn mower to push around.

And a few weeks after his birthday My parents gave him probably one of his favorite gifts. They gave him a toy moose, fox, and wolf; a hat with a moose, a flash light and a moose blanket. I don't think that he put them down for a week.

Reflections

I'm still playing catch up. I don't know if you remember Carter won reflections at his school a few months ago, well he got a letter from the district saying that he won an award of merit for the district. So we got invited to a little ceremony and it happened to to land on the same night that I was in charge of a Activity day girls recognition night. So I arranged for someone to cover the last part of the night so I could sneak off to go to Carter's thing, well to make a long story short, she didn't show up and by the time I decided to leave or not, I got to Carter's thing two minutes too late!! I guess things like that happen. His Dad and grandparents were there to support him.

Swimming with Grandma and Grandpa

My Parents come and see every so often and when they get a motel close to us we get the chance to go swimming with them. It's fun for the kids to be able to get in the water during these long cold months. Adam, Heather and Hailee came with us swimming also, it was so much fun, even if it didn't last very long and we mostly stayed in the hot tub. Thanks Mom and Dad!!!

Snowball Fight!!

I'm so bad at getting my youngest out in the snow. By the time you get all bundled up and out in the snow it gets so cold that it's time to go back in. But it was worth the few minutes of fun we had. I pulled him around on the sled and then we had a snowball fight. He was having so much fun that he didn't want to go back in!!

Lost Tooth

Over the New Years weekend my oldest lost his first tooth. He has been waiting for this for a long time. It was so hard for him to have a lot of his friends missing teeth and he hadn't yet. So his time finally came. He wish it had been a few weeks earlier so he could be missing teeth while sang "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" at his school Christmas program. His friend and him tried to "box" eachothers' teeth out before the program, but it didn't work. Any day now he should be losing tooth #2.

Christmas a month late

Better late than never! I wanted to post Christmas Pictures for awhile now, but never got around to it. I for some reason feel like if I'm going to post I should have pictures to go with the post and loading the pictures slows me down. We had a great Christmas season that last the whole month with all of the activities.

The Kids sang and sat on Santa's lap at the ward Christmas party. Kyler wasn't too sure about the whole Santa thing.

Carter grade did a great Christmas Program to celebrate Christmas. They sang tons of songs and Carter and his friend tried all week to knock out their teeth (and each others) so that when they sang "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" they would have no front teeth.

We also had our annul family party (on my hubby's side) this included talents, Santa (too bad Kyler couldn't stay awake.), and Chocolate Houses.

And Last but not least WE had a wonderful Christmas morning (and Day) The kids were not disappointed and they even slept in until a quarter to eight. (yeah!!!)

Pictures of my 3 BOYS!!

Yes I said 3 boys. I'm a little slow at posting but we did find out the week of thanksgiving that we are having boy #3. And we are so excited. Carter is already counting down how many more we need to go until we have a whole team (football, baseball he doesn't care!!).

This is a picture of what we saw most of the ultrasound. Crossed legs!! The ultrasound tech. was determined not to let me be the 1st in 20 years to go without knowing what we were having. So after a long appointment and fighting with the kid he did give us a peek. And because he didn't want everyone to see I'm respecting his privacy and only posting this picture. It was the best picture the kid would give us!

Carter did win his reflections contest and will be representing his school at the next level. Way to go Carter!!
