Just so you all know We're having a baby!! The Due Date is April 8th (my dad's birthday). But, we are having another C-section, so we really won't have it that day (and who really has their babies on the due date anyway!). We have already had two ultra sounds and everything looks good.

1st Sleepover, the Planetarium and Bees Game
Now I know that we did a bad thing when we our son's 1st sleepover turned into an all weekend fan fair. Anyway the Friday started out as regular sleepover. The boys watched a movie and went fishing, then put their sleeping bags outside and watched the stars. Well about 11:00 the boys got hungry and couldn't sleep. So we started another movie and popped popcorn. And oh yes they fell a sleep in the house. They got up at the crack of dawn and began catching bugs. Then we loaded them up and drove to Cabelas, after Cabelas it was on to Carl's Jr. and ate and played in the play place.
Then we went to the Planetarium and looked at all the cool exhibits and watched the 3-D movie Bugs. It was just like a documentary, but the bugs look like they are in your lap.
The boys favorite part was the gift shop.
When we were done there we went to the Bees game. We had a lot of fun!! Thanks Kim, Ryan and Mattea for the tickets!!! The Bees won. After the game we got to go down on the field to watch the fireworks.
The fireworks were way cool and if you have ever streched out on a real baseball field then you know what I'm talking about when I say that it is best grass ever!! By the time we got the boys loaded in car it was late and they were a sleep before we hit the freeway.
I hope that none of my kids think that that is what we do for every sleepover.

First Day of School

Carter had his first day of 1st grade two weeks ago. Kyler sure misses him now that he is gone all day. But he loves that he gets to eat at school and get three recesses. You know the most important things about school food and friends. Because Brent hadn't started work yet he got to come with us on the first day of school. I can't believe that I have a first grader!!
New Job
For you that don't know Brent lost his job in May. If I went into all the details their would be some negative vibes coming from this blog. But the good news is that he found a new job that is even better (and he got the summer off). And I'm jealous that he gets a massage once a week paid for by his company. The Lord has really blessed us. His new job is in computers. Crazy huh?
Family Camp Out
Every year my family gets together and camps out for a few days at my parents property. This was a lot of fun this year. The kids and some adults make tie-die shirts (we make some type of shirts every year) they turned out so cute! The kids all gave talents at the talents show. Carter did a rope trick and Kyler demonstrated his talent in finding his nose and ears and eyes. The men this year worked on building a tree house for the kids and the kids worked on making a home for the lizard that they found in an old bath tub.

What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas
After we got back from hiking with our friends me and Brent got to spend a night down in Las Vegas. We droped the kids off at Brent's parents to have a sleep over and we were on our way. I had forgotten how long the trip was. For one thing, it had been a long time from the last time we have been there and last time we started in Cedar City. Anyway we went down to pick up some books for my sister's family. Once the job was over we went to the Bass Pro Shop, by the way is way cool. And after that we checked into our motel room and just relaxed the rest of the time. We made it back just in time for the the 24th of July fireworks.
Having Fun With Friends

I know that this a little old news, but I thought that I would back blog about some of the fun things that we did this summer. One of them being that we took a long weekend and took some of our friends down to my hometown and hiked ruins and took a "little" tour of Bluff. It was so much fun!! We went to a lot of fun ruins and even went to some that we have never been to before. We even hiked some of them in the rain which was an adventure. We spent the weekend camping in the great outdoors. Thanks Jay for being our tour guide!!
